Easter flowers table centre

This week has been all about Easter flowers and table centrepieces. I couldn't resist following the egg theme to its natural conclusion and so I created a nest to sit my spring flowers inside, and made sure that it was think enough to add some natural quail's eggs to the lining, along with some muscari bulbs.

It looks impressive, natural and spring-like, but the whole thing was relatively straightforward to make, using a 10-inch wire wreath frame moss, pussy willow, birch, grasses and dried wheat, then I sunk a bowl into the centre and created a grid across the top to drop the tulips, muscari, narcissi, blossom and  ornithogalum.

The hardest bit was blowing a dozen quail's eggs!
